22 Dec That was the year that was 2016
Whatever your political persuasion the 16th year of the third millennium has been surprising to say the least! Amongst the alarmingly regular announcements of the passing of our cultural heroes and musical legends CBA Events has continued to grow and embrace new challenges throughout 2016.
Firstly, we’d like to thank all our clients – from Aberdeen to Amsterdam, we love working with each and every one of you. Secondly, thank you to our team – without their support, hard work, commitment and a steady flow of coffee we wouldn’t be able to operate as we do.
CBA celebrates our 15th birthday this month and over the years we’ve been lucky enough to work on some fabulous events in many areas of the UK and Europe that we wouldn’t otherwise have visited. This year has been no exception with 523 events. We expanded with the acquisition of another events company, Tim Green joined as Production and Events Director, we moved into brand new shiny offices (first floor, reducing the risk of further flooding!), our team grew, discovered new venues, created new event products, travelled to new places, drew blood, sweat and tears, endured back to back 20+ hour shifts, gained new clients, learnt from some mistakes, raised thousands for charity, embraced public speaking, expanded our service portfolio, were nominated for the Luxury Travel Guide Awards and had the pleasure of meeting and working with some very lovely people. Just reading this list back makes us feel tired and proud in equal measures.
May we take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here’s to 2017. With love, CBA Events.
