A team of dedicated individuals with many collective years of experience; we’re all passionate about what we do. We hope you’ll find us all approachable, patient and meticulous in caring for you and your event. We’re proud to have a loyal client based, which speaks for itself. Our team is ever expanding, but here are a few of us.

Director, Head of Business Development

With endless energy and determination, Sara oversees all areas of the business, focusing particularly on client management and business development. “I thrive off the fast pace and having to juggle so much, and never tire of the industry and its challenges. There’s always somewhere or something new to bring to the table.” Loves to run, bike, paddleboard, swim and snowboard. Mother to one of each. Loves seeing new places, home comforts, all things pretty, picnics and being on the water.

Director, Head of Events and Production

Always has a smile for you, even at 3am de-rigging a set before driving on to the next venue in the roadshow. Blessed with limitless patience and the ability to function on all cylinders after only 4 hours sleep between events, Tim ‘I’ll sort it’ Green has the skills to pretty much resolve any challenge or problem! Tim makes the most of his later years on the rugby pitch. He beat Sara in the last triathlon so the competition’s on.

Accounts and Office Manager

Amanda is fundamental to CBA Events, has been since 2013 and deals with everything monetary related, a life line at times and we wouldn’t be without her. When not on the side-lines watching her sons play football and rugby, she finds time to practice her reignited passion for yoga. As a family they have challenged themselves to tick off as many of the Wainwrights as they can.

Jason and Cara

Operations Manager

Jason’s experience lies in the outdoors, facilitation, activity instruction and centre management.  He’s transferred these skills and experiences and now thrives from delivering great events, memorable activities and working with all groups of people. He’s adaptable, energetic and enthusiastic for all things events.  When not eventing, you’ll find him coaching rugby to juniors, out on the water in his red canoe, up a mountain or touring on his red motorbike. Did we mention Jason likes the colour red?  There’s never a dull moment when Jason’s around.

Venue Finding Manager

Born in Germany to a Scottish mother and an English father in an American hospital, Chloe’s feet are firmly planted in Cumbria.  Having worked in the travel and tourism sector since 2009 and transferring those skills to the meetings and events industry earlier this year, Chloe fronts up the Venue Finding team with passion, commitment and excellent client focus.  When not in the business, travel is a passion whether it be city breaks in the UK or far flung locations.  Two of Chloe’s biggest loves are beaches and her terrier cross, Logie.

Ellie (image 1)

Event Manager

Ellie brings great enthusiasm to the team, is always willing and keen to learn new areas of the business and generally gets stuck in.  Following university where she gained a degree in English and a Diploma in Sports Journalism, Ellie supports Sara and Tim with much of the company’s press related activity as well as with larger event projects and venue finding too.  Prior to joining CBA Events Ellie worked with M-Sport World Rally Team, bringing many of the keys skills we require; communication, logistics planning, supporting clients and suppliers, and being able to function at 100% regardless of how long a day you’ve had the day before.

Event Coordinator

Katie’s background is in the outdoor and travel industry from co-ordinating residential language camps for 2000+ students to organising day camps for 100+ children across 80 venues. Katie uses her organisation skills to support the events team prior to events and lends a hand hosting during events. Katie’s move up to the Lake District means she’s enjoying the outdoor lifestyle and you can often find her on the lake perfecting her newly learned paddle boarding skills.

Becca 22

Event Manager

Having achieved a Distinction in her Foundation Certificate in Event Management for Marketing and Communications, Becca joined the CBA Events team in the summer of 2018.  Home is Dorset but prior to relocating to the Lakes, Becca spent many weekends here climbing or fell walking so knows the mountain ranges well.  Becca’s really keen to kick start her professional events career and we’re really pleased to have her on board; energetic, smiley and always willing.

Event Technician

Matt joined us at the end of the summer season 2017 from the south coast and brings with him great instructional and outdoor education experience. He’s rapidly become a valuable member of the team, not only in instructing, delivering live events, keeping our kit and stock levels in order but with the maintenance of the CBA Events at Graythwaite site too. Like many of us, he’s becoming familiar with venues up and down the country, not to mention motorway service stations!

Venue Finder

Chloe, a proud Scot, made the big decision to move a huge distance of 60 miles over the border to Cumbria in 2017, bringing 6 years of administration and customer service experience to our team having worked as a senior cleric and being awarded a First Class Customer Care certificate. Chloe has quickly fallen in love with life in the Lake District but during the season you’ll find her at a race track as she’s mad about motorsport. Barcelona is currently her favourite place, but with life at CBA Events and the opportunity to travel, there’s every chance this could change.

Venue Finder - currently on maternity leave

Jess studied in Chester where she achieved a 2:1 in Event Management and later joined the CBA Events team in early 2017 as Venue Finder and works tirelessly on clients’ projects.  When not in the office, she’s supporting the live events team always willing and always with a smile. One of Jess’s passions is to explore the Lakeland fells.  She recently completed the 5-in-5 in aid of the MS Society and is already in training for next year, with ambitions of completing the 10-in-10.

Venue Finder

Rachel is due to join us in December and we very much look forward to having her on board.
