14 Dec Celebrating 17 years
17 years ago this week I launched what is now known as CBA Events; one Apple Mac, dial up internet, no website, zero clients and no clear plan but what I did have was the desire to combine skills and interests and the determination to make it work. Year on year growth has been a direct result of us putting clients at the heart of what we do.
We’ve taken risks, grasped opportunities, been in the right place at the right time, had high highs and low lows, been lucky enough to work in venues and locations wide and varied, worked on projects that have challenged us, met some brilliant people, built great relationships, hired, fired, drawn blood, sweated plenty and cried tears.
The greatest opportunity came in 2016 when Tim joined me as Co-Director and we’ve since expanded and grown the team further. Surrounded by a carefully selected and special team, we’ll raise a glass at next week’s CBA Events’ Christmas party to everyone who has helped us get this far. Thank you to you all.
