Every year we like to use the money that we would traditionally use to buy client Christmas presents to support a good cause. This year we have chosen to support a local initiative very close to our hearts; the recent merger of two Under 11’s rugby teams.

Tim, who coaches the Keswick U11’s team, together with the coaching team of Cockermouth agreed, with the backing of both clubs, to form one squad to increase the numbers to sustainable levels. The team’s nickname, Ospreys was chosen because the birds of prey nest in Bassenthwaite half way between Keswick and Cockermouth and this name was a firm favourite of all involved.

The team have had a fabulous start to the season and each and every player has improved their game skills and benefited from training and playing with like-minded, determined, young people. Instead of sending out Christmas cards and gifts this year, we have sponsored the new match shirts, alongside Firpress Printers. We hope you’ll be supportive of our decision and agree that they do look rather smart!
