25 Jan Christmas All Wrapped up with CBA Events
The saying goes, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and judging from the fun we had planning in Q4 and our clients’ feedback from Christmas 2017, this last year has certainly been no exception.
Throughout 2017 we searched for special venues, secured large event spaces and intimate hideaways, designed evenings to suit the most majestic of spaces to host those all-important end-of-year parties and helped over 1,700 of our clients celebrate all over the country, not to mention bringing a little Christmas cheer to the hundreds of families who passed through our Winter Wonderland grotto doors in Carlisle city centre.
We organised 33 Christmas parties for a wide range of clients in a variety of sectors; from Global Logistics companies to the IT sector, teams of 10 to exclusive use for 250. With our magic wand the bar humbugs vanished and everyone got into the Christmas spirit, attending events in Belfast, Aberdeen and the Lake District all the way down to Birmingham, Oxford, Bristol and London.
As a team we wrapped hundreds of selection boxes, bought a variety of new props for our photo booths, designed personalised menu cards, provided funky table favours and even rescued a band from the M40!
It’s hard to choose, but we particularly liked the extravaganza of Battersea Evolution, the personal touches of the evening game show we ran in the Lakes and the beautiful surroundings of the Orangery at Blenheim Palace.
Seeing so many smiling, rosy cheeked, little faces visit us in the city centre Winter Wonderland over the six busy shopping days leading up to Christmas was a real treat and we all thoroughly loved the planning and excitement of running this event.
Although we couldn’t personally raise a glass at every event we organised, we loved the feedback and pictures we received and even had time to squeeze in a little shindig of our own albeit on a Monday night!
But even after the big night had been and gone and we were all Christmas’d out, there was no time to hang up our elf outfits and relax in front of a log fire, we are straight back into planning Christmas 2018, because it is never too early to get into the festive spirit.
